Taking Back Time

Taking My Time Back

My challenge now is to take back my time.
Not from others, but from myself, for myself.

Taking time back from all the things I think I NEED to do, SHOULD do, and even sometimes HAVE to do.

And what about all of the toxic ways I give to myself? I give so much time to myself in inadequate and wrong ways.

Scrolling.

Worrying.

Concerning.

Distracting.

And what about the escaping?

All of this time, I don’t want. And what about the time I need?

Could I Give Myself Time Back?

Could I give myself time back? Time from all the things?

I think I could.

In a world where anything is possible.

In a world where ice cream flows, and rainbows grow.

Yes, I think I could. If I dared to be me.

If I dared to be me, I could take time back from me and give it to me.

I could use it to grow and create.

To be… If I dared… ME.

Yes, I think I could.

In a world where gnomes and fairies roam.

Yes, I think I could.

I could take back time from me and give it to me.

I could use it to swing from the trees, talk to the bees, and just be me.

Yes, I know I could.

In a world where the water and willows fall.

Yes.

I think I will.
